For a new company to establish itself, and grow, in today’s competitive environment there must exist an opportunity in the marketplace.  In 1983, Mackey determined there was a void in the Tri-State area for a firm that provided quality proactive services.  A firm that listened and demonstrated concern for the clients’ best interest.  A firm that was an integral part of a company’s advisory team.  A firm that constantly strives to put client needs first.
 
Based on this assertion, Mackey founded the firm, Mackey McNeill Mohr, PSC in 1983 with a team of one.  Devotion to the basic concept of service first has driven growth from one to nine.
 
In December of 1995, the firm was ranked as the fifteenth largest CPA firm in Greater Cincinnati. In January of 2003, Mackey and Greg Smith became partners and Mackey McNeill Mohr, PSC became The Advisory Team, LLC a Mackey McNeill Company.  Since 2003 the firm has rapidly expanded their CPA services and wealth management business has grown by over 85% since 2005.  In celebration of 25 years in business a rebranding process gave birth to the Mackey Advisors™ identity in October 2007.

In December 2007 the Greater Cincinnati Regional Chamber of Commerce presented Mackey Advisors™ as the runner up for Best New Product or Service at the 2007 WE Celebrate Awards.  The firm was noted for its Prosperity Planning® services.  Most recently in June 2008, Mackey Advisors™ was named a finalist for the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Small Business SUCCESS Awards.
